Aim of the program: The goal of the program is to prepare and offer to the labor market a qualified accountant who will be able to participate in entrepreneurship, accounting of a non-profit, state organization / institution or a person policy planning, organizing and conducting.

 The Results of the Teaching:

The Graduate will be able:

  • Develop an accounting policy
  • Fill in the work forms (accounting Documents)
  • Conduct accounting operations
  • Complete and submit declarations
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Produce accounting for some types of economic activities
  • Exercise control over the accounting of the economic entity
  • Maintain management accounting
  • Perform economic analysis.

The Terms of Enrolment: Secondary Education

Tests to be taken:

  1. Basic Academic Skills Test
  2. Test in a foreign language (optional: English, Russian, German, French)

Learning Range: For Georgian language students: 99 credits

For non-Georgian speaking students: 129 credits.

Duration of the learning process: For Georgian language students: 20 academic months

For non-Georgian speaking students: 26 academic months

The highest professional qualification in accounting can be employed in private and public agencies, accounting in non-governmental organizations and in financial services, auditing and consulting firms. Self-employment is also possible through the implementation of private professional practice.

Every year, during spring and autumn periods, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces the registration period for people who want to enroll in VET programs.

Registration can be done across the information centers, the Ministry of Education resource-centers and vocational training programs at the corresponding vocational education institutions.
