Aim of the program: The aim of the program is to prepare restaurant service specialists for the local and international labor markets.
The Results of the Teaching:
The Graduate will be able:
- Provide service in restaurants and cafes;
- Monitor procurement and supplies;
- Compile the business plan of the food facility;
- Compile a financial plan of the food facility;
- Control the function of the food facility
- Organize the working process;
- Organize parties, presentations, business meetings, conferences;
- Ensure the observance and implementation of sanitary-hygienic norms at the food facility
- Manage and solve problematic situations.
The Terms of Enrolment: Secondary Education
Tests to be taken:
- Basic Academic Skills Test
- Test in Maths

Learning Range: For Georgian language students: 80 credits
For non-Georgian speaking students: 110 credits.
Duration of the learning process: For Georgian language students: 17 academic months
For non-Georgian speaking students: 23 academic months
The average professional qualification of a restaurant service profession can be employed in any type of a hotel and a restaurant as a low-level employee, as well as a middle-level position in restaurants, cafes and food facilities: waiters, food service staff.
Every year, during spring and autumn periods, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces the registration period for people who want to enroll in VET programs.
Registration can be done across the information centers, the Ministry of Education resource-centers and vocational training programs at the corresponding vocational education institutions.
